Announcing Big Data LDN

Two Day Exhibition and Conference Dedicated to Big Data to be Held in London

Big Data LDN to be held at Olympia London, 3-4 November 2016

A new free to attend two-day exhibition and conference focusing on how to build dynamic, data-driven enterprises will open its doors at Olympia London later this year. Big Data LDN will bring together more than 70 leading technology and service suppliers with pioneers, early adopters and Big Data thought leaders in a multi-track event designed to help organisations make the transition to data driven enterprises.

Recognising the technical and skills shortfalls, antiquated architecture systems and data silos that make Big Data and Analytics complex, uncertain and difficult to adopt, Big Data LDN is designed to provide answers. The conference and seminar programme is a compelling blend of strategic guidance and actionable technical insights, enabling business and IT delegates to tackle their Big Data projects with confidence.

Running alongside speaker sessions and educational seminars, the exhibition brings together more than 70 tech leaders and disruptive start-ups, showcasing the hottest new technology and a wide range of data and analytics products.

Bill Hammond, Event Director for Big Data LDN said, “Brands such as Amazon and Google have long shown how effective Big Data can be. We are seeing more and more businesses attempting to make the transition to a data-driven enterprise, only to find themselves faced with a host of stumbling blocks. There is a skills shortage and a complexity of transition that leaves many Big Data adopters stuck. Where to start? What are other organisations doing? What works? Big Data LDN will provide answers, focusing on the practical steps and technology to adopt. Our speaker line up is world class and delegates can expect to leave with the benefit of their hard won lessons on what works and what to avoid.”

Big Data LDN will be split into a number of areas:

A C-level strategy conference for 450 delegates, Data-Driven London 2016, will focus on the process of digital transformation from DevOps to a more agile, collaborative DataOps model. Case studies from leaders in the field will examine the top use-cases for Big Data and Analytics and provide practical advice on the pitfalls to avoid and how to ensure success.

Four technical education tracks will host up to 150 delegates. Community-driven meetup groups, hosted in the evening in the conference and seminar theatres will deliver informal presentations, discussions and refreshments. Technical and project seminars will cover topics such as data management platforms, integration tools, architecture, governance and protection.

Peer-to-peer delegate networking will also be available, with seating and refreshment areas provided in the exhibition area.

An exhibition of more than 70 leading Big Data and Analytics vendors and service providers from around the world, showcasing the range of tools and solutions available to smooth the path to becoming a Data-Driven Enterprise.

Founding sponsors for Big Data LDN include Alteryx, Basho, Cloudera, DataStax, Datalytyx, Tableau and Talend, with 451 Research as the Analyst Partner for the event. Justin Mullen, Director and Co-Founder, Datalytyx said, “Datalytyx is pleased to confirm that we are sponsoring the inaugural Big Data LDN 2016. This sponsorship provides us with an opportunity, alongside our partners in the Big Data world, to be seen by clients at the forefront of the data and analytics wave. Our team are looking forward to capitalising on the event with a number of legitimate business conversations, an increase in brand awareness, and significant return on investment. We have every confidence that Bill’s team will make Big Data London the success we expect it to be.”
